This notice describes the current LivingLayout decorating website. You can use the public room tools without creating a LivingLayout account.
Device saves and photos
Room layouts, recovery copies, favorites, planner choices and your automatic-saving choices use browser storage on your device. Photo designs and project boards, including notes, palettes, shortlists and reference photos, use your browser’s local database. Imported 3D models can also be stored there. Automatic saving starts only after you choose it in the relevant tool or below. Explicit Save, Favorite and Import actions store the requested item. These design tools process your selected files locally; they do not upload your photo or room file to a LivingLayout design server.
Recently placed furniture and quick-guide dismissal stay in memory for this visit; they are not written to persistent browser storage. Previously stored versions of those preferences are ignored. Existing saved designs can be restored when you open their tool, without enabling automatic saving.
Browser storage is separate for each browser, device and website address. It is not a cloud backup. Clearing it can permanently remove designs and recovery copies. Download important work first. The photo studio’s 30-day automatic restore window does not automatically delete older saved data.
Downloads and shared links
Exported files remain wherever you save or send them. Some optional sharing tools put a room layout, dimensions, decorations, labels or calibration information into the URL. Anyone with that link can read the shared design. Its URL data also reaches the hosting service when opened. Photo bytes and imported model files are excluded from these share links. Avoid private information in labels or shared plans.
Hosting and technical requests
OpenAI Sites and its Cloudflare infrastructure deliver the website. Hosting providers can process request information such as your IP address, browser, requested address and time for delivery, security and operations. Their handling and retention are governed by their services; device-local design storage does not prevent ordinary hosting requests.
The advanced measured-room builder can request lighting assets from raw.githack.com and model-decoding software from Google’s gstatic.com. These providers receive normal connection information. Imported models may request referenced external assets. Optional augmented reality asks for browser/device permission and processes room measurements in the browser; saved or shared calibration may be included in a plan.
Cookies, analytics and Amazon
LivingLayout does not load Google Analytics or advertising pixels. Its local storage supports the tools you choose to use. Cloudflare sets a security cookie called __cf_bm to help distinguish bots from visitors; it expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. Hosting or sign-in infrastructure may use other cookies for security and administration. We do not use an application-level cross-site advertising tracker or sell your stored room designs.
When you choose an Amazon shopping link, Amazon receives the destination request and our affiliate tracking ID. Amazon may use cookies and other information to attribute purchases under its own Privacy Notice. LivingLayout does not receive your Amazon payment details or delivery address. Your choices
Your automatic saving choices
Automatic saving is off until you enable it for a tool. These choices apply to this browser and website address. Turning a choice off also stops future automatic saves in other open tabs. Explicit Save, Favorite and Import actions can still keep the item you request.
Turning saving off does not erase earlier work. Use each tool’s remove controls for individual items, or clear this website’s data in your browser to remove all device saves and recovery copies. Download important rooms and images first; project notes and reference photos are separate from room files.
You can avoid retailer links, decline optional device permissions, and remove this site’s cookies and stored data in your browser settings. Individual remove or reset buttons may leave separate saved rooms or recovery copies. Removing browser data does not delete downloaded files or copies you shared elsewhere. The site is intended for people planning and decorating spaces and is not directed to children under 13. We do not provide public accounts, chat or a newsletter sign-up in this version.

We will update this notice when the site’s data practices change. The date above identifies this version.
